Loose Ends

Slowly I'm getting back into my addiction. School is closed this week so I have lots of free time. I finished my pictorial family history book which I plan to sell as a fundraiser for the upcoming Koonce family reunion. I looked up several names on ancestry.com to see if anything new had been added. There hadn't. It is frustrating that those brick walls haven't come down yet. It is unrealistic of me to wish they had but I still had that dream. That frustration is what led me to take my hiatus.

I understand those brick walls. And glad dto see you back blogging. If you don'mind, I would like a little more info on your picture book. I'm trying to come up with something for some of our family reunions.

When I self-published my first 90-page book, it cost me approximately $6 not counting my own paper and ink. I've tried various programs online and it costs $25 for a 20 page book with photos. I'm trying to figure out something in between. I took photos from my archive and sprinkled it with text from the first book and kept it down to 20 pages and just 3 maternal family lines.
